How long is a quote valid?
30 days from the date on it. After that, ask for a refreshed quote; the price is usually unchanged.
Terms of Trade
These terms apply to every quote and order from Shop Mylar Bags. By approving a proof you accept them. They were last reviewed on 22 October 2026.
Quotes and orders
- A written quote states the pouch, size, laminate, closure, print, finish, quantity and price per unit. It is valid for 30 days.
- An order starts when you confirm the quote in writing. A design proof follows.
- Production starts only after you approve the proof in writing.
- Changes after proof approval may need a new quote and a new proof.
Proofs and artwork
You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the artwork you send, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. The approved proof is the agreed artwork; errors present on it are your responsibility. We keep artwork for 24 months to allow reprints, as set out in the privacy policy.

Liability and law
Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

When do I pay?
As stated on the quote, normally before production starts. Credit terms can be agreed in writing for repeat customers.
What is quantity tolerance?
Pouch production is a continuous process, so the finished count can be slightly above or below the order. The quote states the tolerance and you pay for what is delivered within it.
Who owns the dieline?
The dieline we draw for your order can be reused for your reprints with us. Your artwork remains yours.
Can I use the proof to order elsewhere?
The proof is prepared for our production. Your own artwork is yours to use anywhere.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes, from businesses, alongside written confirmation of the quote.
What if my product fails in the pouch?
The laminate is chosen for the use you describe. Test a sample on your product before a large run; we help with that and state any limits on the quote.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The quote price includes the proof, the print, the closures and tracked UK delivery.
What happens if I do not approve the proof?
Nothing is printed and nothing is charged. The quote stays valid for its 30 days.
Can these terms be changed for my order?
Yes, in writing on the quote, for example agreed credit terms or a specific delivery date.
Which law applies?
The law of England and Wales, with disputes handled by its courts.
